Access Statement for HEYWOOD HOUSE
Introduction heywood house is a four storey building providing guest accomadation over three floors
Pre-Arrival • we do not have any access for wheelchairs • we do not have a lift • we have 1 twin room with strobe warning of fire
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities • we do not have parking • we are surrounded by free on street parking • we are close to many pay and display carparks • we have access to sucure parking which is chargable • access to heywood house is via our front door only, which has one small step to our garden and two small steps to the front door • we have no letting rooms on ground floor
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area • on arrival all guests will be met by either richard or jeanette • our booking in area is in our bar diner on the ground floor • this is the only area for guests on the ground floor •
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc • there is a guest toilet on the first floor • ground floor to the guest toilet is via 13 steps to a half landing a further 3 steps to room 1 and the guest toilet • the next 3 bedrooms are 6 futher steps up to the landing of the 1st floor • the last 3 bedrooms are a futher 10 steps up to a half landing and then 6 more to the second floor landing
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc • in our bar diner we have seating for twenty with tables a pool table and our bar
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas • all of our rooms have smoke detectors fitted to a central fire alarm • all of our rooms have fire alarm sounders fitted to a central fire alarm • 1 of our rooms has a fire alarm stobe light • all rooms have full en-suite facilities • all rooms have remote control colour tv's with addtional remote control free view
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared] • all rooms have en-suite facilities • all have a toilet a shower and a sink
Grounds and Gardens • our garden to the front has seating for approx 6 people with a range of tubs and flowers
Additional Information • fire evacuation is via our front entrance no other exits are available • all exits are well signed • if help required call our hotel number 01253 344413 • we do not except pets at all • we are a totally no smoking guest house • • •
