Access Statement for HEYWOOD HOUSE
Introduction heywood house is a four storey building providing guest accommodation over two floors .
Pre-Arrival • we do not have any access for wheelchairs • we do not have a lift • we have 1 double room with strobe warning of fire .
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities • we do not have parking • we are surrounded by free on street parking • we are close to many pay and display car parks • we have access to secure parking which is chargeable • access to heywood house is via our front door only, which has one small step to our garden and two small steps to the front door • we have no letting rooms on ground floor
Main Entrance, Reception • on arrival all guests will be met by either Jeanette or Richard • our booking in area is off our entrance hall .
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landings ground floor to the guest room 1 is via 13 steps to a half landing a further 3 steps to room 1 • the next 3 bedrooms are further 6 steps up to the landing of the 1st floor • the last 3 bedrooms are a further 10 steps up to a half landing and then 6 more to the second floor landing
Public Areas • our breakfast room is accessed from our entrance hall.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas • all of our rooms have smoke detectors fitted to a central fire alarm • all of our rooms have fire alarm sounders fitted to a central fire alarm • 1 of our rooms has a fire alarm strobe light • all rooms have full en-suite facilities • all rooms have remote control flat screen free-view tv's
Shower-room & wc • all rooms have full en-suite facilities • all have a toilet a shower and a sink
Grounds and Gardens • our garden to the front has seating for guests to enjoy with a range of tubs and flowers
Additional Information • fire evacuation is via our front entrance no other exits are available • all exits are well signed • if help is required call 01253 344413 • we do not except pets • we are a totally no smoking guest house • • •
